About

Cuttings. Openings. Infinite Stories.

Susanne Stoeppler (b. 1963 in Bochum) is a Hamburg-based visual artist and trained designer. She studied product and textile design as well as painting at HAW Hamburg with Marion Ullrich, Eun Nim Ro, and Jadranko Rebec. Her multidisciplinary background informs a body of work that moves between collage, sculpture, painting, photography, and spatial concepts in architecture and design.

Stoeppler’s works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions across Germany. Her practice also includes stage design, photography, and material concepts for interior and architectural spaces. Since the mid-1980s, she has developed a clear visual language—colorful and quietly powerful.
